Dr. Reed with his dog, Bess: Photo Credit: Larry F. LevensonDr. Reed joined Kansas City Veterinary Care in 2004. A Kansas City native, he earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas and a doctorate in veterinary medicine from Kansas State University in 1998.

His experience includes five years as an associate veterinarian at a high-volume practice in Kansas. He has a special interest in ultrasound technology and diagnostics. He is a member of the Kansas City Veterinary Medical Association (KCVMA) and American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).

Dr. Reed lives in Overland Park with his wife, Dianne, and daughter Emily. They share their home with a golden retriever, a border collie mix and two cats. When not at the clinic he is actively involved with his family farm business of breeding and raising thoroughbred horses. He enjoys travel and outdoor activities, such as fly fishing, hiking and running.
