Corey A. Entriken, DVM

 

Dr. Entriken was born in Wichita, Kansas and graduated from Bishop Carroll High School in 1984. He attended Kansas Newman College and Kansas State University for his undergraduate studies. In 1988 he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology.

 

Dr. Entriken graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University in 1992 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree. He initially worked and learned at a surgical referral and veterinary practice in Moline, Illinois. From 1994 to 2010 he was a staff member of a large, high volume veterinary practice in north Kansas City. He enjoys the challenge of medical and surgical practice for multiple exotic animal species in addition to his canine and feline patients.

 

Dr. Entriken is currently a member of the Kansas City Veterinary Medical Association, Missouri Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association(link is external), Association of Reptilian & Amphibian Veterinarians (ARAV), Association of Avian Veterinarians (AAV), and the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians (AEMV). 

 

He enjoys herpetology, gardening for wildlife, photography and hunting and fishing. He is married with two children.
