Gonzalo Erdozain, DVM

Dr. Erdozain graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014.

Dr. Erdozain was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and grew up in Asunción, Paraguay. Before attending veterinary school, he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Arts from Kansas State University and worked as a graphic designer for 5 years. Because of his interest in and passion for animal healthcare, he also asked to shadow the doctors at Kansas City Veterinary Care on the weekends. Not long thereafter, KCVC hired him as a veterinary assistant, and he continued in this role during his four years in veterinary school.

Dr. Erdozain enjoys all facets of companion animal healthcare, but has a particular interest in surgery. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA), the Kansas City Veterinary Medical Association (KCVMA), and AO Vet.

In his free time, Dr. Erdozain gets a kick out of playing and watching soccer, and he delights in spending time with wife Kate, sons Roman and Jack, and Mia, his yellow Labrador retriever.
